Held at Parliament Hill Fields, one of the capitals more challenging venues, the Senior men’s team finished a credible 11th out of 34 teams at the London CC Championships.
Jim Cooper bagged a top 50 place running 37:18 over the undulating 10km course of 3 laps. Harrows second scorer was Chris Jones who in 94th just edging out Luke Hunt in 104th who was running his first cross-country as a vet – both ran under 40 minutes. 4th Harrow scorer was Declan Traynor making a good call running in trail shoes to aid his grip on the rolling hills and finishing in 194th place. Our other runners were U20 Cameron Wright running well on his cross country debut for the club placing 215th, Nick Andrews, Aaron O’Connell, Joe Gammell and Steve Bland who all finished in the top 300 out of a field of just short of 500 runners. Well done team!
