Harrow’s BAL squad placed fourth in the final match of the season in Manchester on Sunday, just seven points behind third, and finished the season in fourth league place, one position higher than last year. This ranks the Club 12th in the UK (up from 22nd in 2013)!
Angus Lockhart won the shot with a PB of 15.06, Omar Grant took the 100 metres while Ben Maze, who had competed in Belgium the previous day, flew in from Brussels to win the 400 metres. Miguel Perera produced a polished performance for his second consecutive BAL sprint hurdles victory, with Tom Nichols taking the B string.
There were also PBs for Terry Fawden and Declan Traynor in the steeplechase, Kema Egbunike in the 400 metres, and Chris Jones (in Harrow colours) in the 1500m.
A big thank you to all athletes, coaches, partners, and families, for supporting our successful British League campaign this season. A special personal thank you to Rohan for all his hard work for the team.
