Harrow’s U15 & U13 athletes were just a handful of points adrift of second place when they competed at Mile End stadium last weekend in round 2 of the YDL, just a day before the Southern League team missed out on winning their match at the same venue by only 2 points.
There were sprint wins for Ayden Tyrrell, Bardya Baniamer, Romello Alexis and Arinze Oforum followed up by another relay win whilst Jaeden Egbo was busy winning 2 of his 3 throws. Zacheria Atek also won his B string Javelin. The U15 girls also won their sprint relay and Mya Ashbourne, Tiana Campbell and Mya Addison all won their B string events.
In the U13 girls there was double success for Rayne Tapper winning both short sprints and Rhiana Egbo just missed doing the same in the B string while Tori-Nicole Houlker took the honours in the B Javelin throw. Well done to all the team managers and officials and good luck for round 3 at Hillingdon next month. Finally (hopefully better late than never) are some match day photos;
