Max Schopp produced a big PB of 51.92 to reach the final of the 400 metres hurdles, where he finished seventh. Miguel Perera clinched the bronze medal in the sprint hurdles despite hitting hurdles while Destiny Ogali set a new best of 10.53 in the 100 metres semi-final.
Megan Bailey placed fourth in the pole vault final while Taia Tunstall would have been disappointed with her throw in the discus final after setting a PB of 47.90 in the recent open meeting in Chelmsford.
In other recent meetings, Owen Heard set a new 400 best of 49.63 in Nuneaton on 30 August while Chris Hudson set a PB of 4.12.20 in the BMC meeting in Lee Valley on 29 August.
