Congratulations to all Club athletes who appear in the national age-group rankings.
Nia Wedderburn-Goodison tops the under 17 lists at both 100 (11.56) and 200 (23.59), both new Club under 17 and under 20 records. Lily Carlaw heads the under 17 discus rankings, with her Club record of 43.77, and also places fourth in the shot. Ella Rush is second in the under 20 heptathlon and also has top 30 rankings in six other events.
Under 20 international Taia Tunstall ranks second in the discus with her Club record of 51.05. Dan Howells also earned international selection and his PB of 1.48.16 gives him third place in the under 20 800.
The Club also has eight top five entries in the UK masters’ rankings. Damian Nevins heads the M40 steeplechase lists with his PB of 9.59.80, while Richard Carr ranks in high, long and triple jumps. His 1.90 high jump gives him second spot alongside Tom Nichols. The ageless Dave Sketchley tops the M45 javelin list while Andy Lewis is third in the M50 shot.
